Health Room Information

The Health Room is a shared nursing position, staffed by two Bechai nurses and a Bethlehem Area School District nurse. The nursing staff provides health services that enable students with healthcare concerns to participate safely in the education setting. They see students who become ill or injured during school hours, perform state mandated screenings, implement health plans as prescribed by physicians for students with chronic and short term health conditions e.g. anaphylaxis, asthma, concussions, diabetes, infection (strep, skin irritation…), migraines, seizures etc. If you need further assistance with your child’s health needs during the school day, please contact our Health Room and one of our nurses will gladly help.
