We, at Bethlehem Catholic High School, are excited to announce that the rollout of our 1:1 computer program for our students has now be implemented. The distribution of computers was done by class, beginning the week of February 20, 2023, with a class per week receiving their computers. Each student received a Windows-based, professional quality, Dell 3120 2-in-1 computer, for use throughout the entirety of their high school career at Bethlehem Catholic High School. Upon graduating from Bethlehem Catholic, they will keep these laptops to use during their collegiate and professional careers.
Since its founding in 1925, Bethlehem Catholic has been committed to providing the best educational opportunities for our students. The implementation of a 1:1 computer program will increase educational opportunities and enhance student performance, which will better prepare them for future successes.
The 1:1 vision began with our 2022 Golden Gala’s Emotional Appeal, which was dedicated to the process of upgrading our network infrastructure to handle the demands of a 1:1 computer program. The 2023 Golden Gala’s Emotional Appeal will further supplement the network infrastructure, and provide required accessories and security for each student’s laptop. The culmination of the project came about through the generosity of the John and Kathy Feehan Foundation and its annual commitment to providing every student with a laptop. Bethlehem Catholic is incredibly grateful for its benefactors, especially the John and Kathy Feehan Foundation, for transforming our vision into a reality.
At Bethlehem Catholic we seek excellence in everything. This program is just one of the steps we are taking to make that vision a reality for our students.
