Mrs. Susan Stofanak is a self-proclaimed History enthusiast that entered the teaching profession in 1997. Her degrees include a B.A. in Social Studies Secondary Education and a M.A. in American History from East Stroudsburg University. Mrs. Stofanak has continued her education throughout her career taking classes at Penn State, Columbia University, DeSales and continues to attend teacher seminars across the nation through the Gilder Lehrman Institute and the National Endowment for the Humanities. The highlight of her career, to date, was receiving the 2012 History Teacher of the Year award from the Northampton County Historical Society.

Her career at Bethlehem Catholic began in 2008 where she moderated the National History Day program (with three national finalists) and currently moderates the History Club which continues to develop our relationship with Historical Downtown Bethlehem. On a personal note Mrs. Stofanak is married to Bill Stofanak, they have three daughters and five grandchildren, and share their home with two lovable King Charles Spaniels, Flick and Finley.
