The Frassati Room
The Frassati Room
On September 7, 2025, Pope Leo XIV canonized two young Italians: St. Carlo Acutis (1991-2006) and St. Pier Giorgio Frassati (1901-1925)! Both young saints are great role models of holiness and discipleship for all people, but especially for young people. Like all the saints, they teach us by their example how to love and follow Christ!
Both new saints are patrons of our Campus Ministry at Bethlehem Catholic, and this year we’re so blessed to have in senior hall our new Campus Ministry Room, which has been named the Frassati Room, after St. Pier Giorgio Frassati! The Frassati Room was blessed by Bishop Schlert on September 11, 2025, and since its inception, it has been a huge blessing and success—the students love it! The Frassati Room is intended to foster fellowship, community, faith formation, and good old-fashioned fun among our students.
The Frassati Room is the hub of Campus Ministry where we have our meetings, prayer groups, Bible studies, etc. The air-conditioned room is complete with couches, bean bag chairs, games, ping pong, foosball, and a projector screen for movies and it’s open to all the students whenever they’re able and permitted to come–before, during, or after school. The Frassati Room is bearing great fruit for our students in that it’s building up our Golden Hawk family and fostering a fun and relaxing atmosphere where the students can enjoy each other’s company in the context of a culture of encounter grounded in our Catholic faith. St. Carlo Acutis and St. Pier Giorgio Frassati, pray for us!
