Michael Grasso

Mr. Grasso graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 1974 with a B.S. Degree in Elementary and Secondary Health and Physical Education. He then began his teaching and coaching career at Bethlehem Catholic High School. He continued his education in graduate work at Penn State University and East Stroudsburg University, receiving his Instructional II Permanent Certification in Health, PE and Driver Education.

Mr. Grasso is currently Dean of Students working with student and parent concerns in discipline and crisis situations. He is moderator of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD).

Mr. Grasso teaches Driver Education both in the classroom and on-the-road with certification to test and license his students. He teaches one class of Health Education as well.   He is Department Head of Health, PE and Driver Education.

In athletics, Mr. Grasso is currently Assistant Athletic Director and Head Baseball Coach. He has held this position of Baseball coach for 43 years (31 years as Head Coach).   As Head Baseball coach Becahi has won 3 Division Titles; 2 League Championships; 4 District Titles. He was named Coach of the Year in 1998, 2001 and 2007. During his 43 year professional and coaching career, he has coached Football, Soccer, Girls’ Basketball as well as Baseball at Becahi.   He was inducted into the Athletic Wall of Fame for Bethlehem Catholic High School and received the Fides et Scientia Award for Service and Commitment to the Bethlehem Catholic Community in 2007.

He enjoys spending time with his wife Kathy and their 4 children and 10 grandchildren. He likes to spend time in the outdoors hunting and fishing.
